Depending on the type of linked card you use, you may receive a confirmation email immediately following your visit to a participating Free Spirit® Dining restaurant that reflects the amount of the check, including tax (excluding tip). Since the initial amount authorized on your credit or debit card doesn’t include tip, this email will not show the full amount you paid. Three to four days after your visit, you’ll receive a second email that details the final ticket amount authorized on your card (including tip), the total number of Free Spirit® points earned, and your review link. If your linked card doesn’t provide immediate notifications to us, then three to four days after your visit you’ll receive an email that details the final ticket amount authorized on your card (including tip), the total amount of points earned, and your review link.
When you place a qualifying Online Ordering Available or Online Ordering Only order through the Free Spirit® Dining site, you will earn points at your current earning rate only on the subtotal. This means that you won’t earn points on tax, tip, and/or delivery-related fees for online orders.
